Saldana organized the ELN's support network in Bolivia's cities and mining areas. In this wide-ranging interview, Saldana tells the story of the massive working-class struggles in Bolivia in the 1950s and 1960s, struggles in which he was a direct participant. He describes the battles of the tin miners, peasants, and indigenous peoples of his country that created "fertile ground" for Guevara's revolutionary course. A unique historical document.
